Marcus, who resigned as a city commissioner last Tuesday and Antonio (Tony Ducks) Corallo, whom the Federal Bureau of Investigation described as a mafia leader, were arrested yesterday on Federal charges of taking kickbacks on an $835,000 city contract.
A Federal Grand jury returned an indictment yesterday charging that Mr. Marcus, former Commissioner of Water Supply, Gas and Electricity, had received $16,000 of a $40,000 kickback on a contract to refurbish the Jerome Park Reservoir in the Bronx.«
